Nancy Zaslavsky Tours is planning two culinary excursions to Mexico in the first part of 2014, to Veracruz in February and San Miguel de Allende in April.
During the Veracruz trip, Feb. 6-12, participants will sample regional foods such as Huachinango Veracruzana, Pompano Mojo de Ajo, table salsas and tropical fruit sorbets. On the journey to San Miguel de Allende, April 24-30, travelers will turn foods they buy in markets into Mexican dishes at cooking classes/demos, and taste regional dishes from top restaurants and the best taco stands. A $500 deposit is required to reserve your space. Click here for more information or to download an application on the TOURS page.
